Pour a tube of exhaust stop leak into the intake.


Playhouse sand works as a great alternative.

Duct tape'll do it. Two or three layers'll definitely be strong enough to stop the pressure from an engine.

Duct tape is made for heating ducts, it'll be fine of course. Go four layers if you're worried, four layers is how they fix leaks on nuclear submarines.
