I was So close to finally getting my solo performance catback....
Was going to get it when I get my bonus on the 30th but my girlfriend tore her lateral meniscus and can't work for a month after the surgery.

now that money will go to the surgery and bills.

So Damn close....
Anyone else have stories of being close to gettin car stuff and something like this happening?

more like close to making the decision and then realizing that there are better/more important things to spend/save that money on

I'm well aware there are other things to save for but this is what I wanted.

Yeah I hear that. I've been very tempted to go buy a supercharger but I'm in the process of saving up for a house. Priorities suck

Well here in Canada we don't pay for surgeries.
And if we get injured we have Employment Insurance which will pay us 55% of our wages up to xxx per week while you recover.

The problem is, I own multiple vehicles; One always seems to need something.

Of course that takes away from projects, not so much money, the time really.
