Model: Acura
Make: Integra LS/RS Motor
Year: 1996
engine/transmission option: Auto

The car has problem accelerating as if it's not having enough power. Sluggish acceleration even from the get-go. What are possible problems for it? It's hard to explain, gasing the pedal to accelerate it really doesn't feel responsive. Head gasket may need replacing as I see some oil leaking.

Possible timing belt/dizzy adjustment needed?
Possible not enough gas reaching the sparks problem?

I'll answer questions as best I can.

You already posted this.

If its same issue as last thread:
Change the fucking distributor already.

If not, is the check engine light on for anything? If so, what for?

No it's not the same issue as the last thread sadly. The check engine light is not on, though the ABS sometimes go on and off. Only the Maintenance light stays on.

Could be a few things .. bad fuel, fuel filter, TPS, misfire, bad plug(s), the list goes on.
Take it into a shop they will tell you, unless you plan on doing this yourself.

Don't believe it's bad fuel as it's been like this for a while, though I may run some fuel cleaner just in case as well as replace the filter. What is TPS? I'm thinking it might be misfire but don't have the equipment to check it. I plan to do this myself unless I don't have the tools way beyond my knowledge.

If not fuel I'd suggest TPS. Its the throttle sensor located on the side of your throttle body. Can be a pain to get the old one out if its been in there for awhile.

I'll take a look, from what I read on the symptoms it seems likely to be the culprit.

Yea it's pretty common and usually doesn't throw a code.
