so i finally had my pre trial conference about my ticket i got in my challenger a couple months ago and it went good

cop lowered it from 41 over in a 55mph zone to 19 over and removed the license suspension. but he kept the fine the same but whatever..

i got lucky lol..idk how many people can get pulled over doing 96 in a 55 and not lose their license but i got did haha.. im thinking its because i havnt had a ticket in the 10 years ive had my license and the fact that the district attorney was a mopar muscle car guy and we shot the shit about barracudas and challengers for a while before hand B)

55 is typically a highway though. I don't see what's wrong with driving 96 on a highway.

if he said 41 over a 40MPH zone, that's different...

I got a 95 in a 45 years back. Slapped with a $1200 fine and lost my license for about a year.

Learned my lesson.

Here's a tip
and I do this when traveling long distances

Hang back 1/4 click from the guy going that flast, or up there in speed. Let him be your dummy

and what this guy said, I always do this.
basically make sure he's barely in your horizon =)

I drive 80+ so often, I never really think about those consequences.
But I've built up more fines fighting the city for my house not being (conformist), $1200 really does seem small.

Depends what you drive. If I follow someone like that and pass a cop, the cops gonna look at me first, even if he was in front/going faster.

If you are going to speed make sure you are driving something fast enough to get away.
