So I messed up

left 3/4 tank of fuel in my Syclone over the winter, no treatment, nothing. :(

Now it started up not bad, however:

1. Wouldn't spool past 2.5 lbs pressure from the turbo
2. Getting over 3k rpm took time
3. Pressing the gas pedal down quickly choked the engine out completely
4. Incredibly rough idle.

Fairly certain it's bad fuel, it was running perfectly fine before being parked.

What are the best ways to clear out the bad shit? Do I need to drop the tank and clean it out?

I'm guessing new fuel filter is obviously needed as well.

It was suggested to me to use 1/3 can of Seafoam to help remove moisture and clear things up in the fuel system, is this a bad idea?

Fill it with high octane and take it easy

Or syphon all the old gas out

Noted ty

Only ran it for about 1 minute, feared for the worse and shut it down.

Is the seafoam a bad idea?

I was also thinking of dropping in a bottle of octane booster to help avoid det

pull the line running to the motor, let the fuel pump run and clear it out.

this but when it starts getting inconsistent stop because you could burn the pump.

Ok, I'll need to find a container big enough for that

Would it be a bad idea to run the truck and burn off the fuel instead?

Yes. It could cause detonation. I'd pull the line if you have the tools.

Seems like the proper logic

Where is the fuel line filter on it? Possibly can do the drain trick and change out your fuel line filter the same time.
