Took my car in to get an oil change

Some of them can take some serious abuse....When I used to live with my pops in the city this Mexican dude next door would get into like his 80s Honda and rev it to like 8 grand every morning from a bone cold start...even in the dead of winter. This shit went on for years until I moved out, can't believe that car took that shit, I doubt anything else would take that kind of abuse, lol. Guy was probably trying to warm it up quick, not like it was riced or anything, it was a total beater but it kept running every day....couldn't believe it.

what honda do you drive?

How is this built tough?

My buddy had a '96 Crown Vic 4.6 with 412k miles on the clock. Ran great, but burned so much oil, he picked up a low mileage replacement for it (Around 130k). But, we couldn't stomach pulling a running engine just because it burned oil, so we decided to lock it up first so we had good reason to replace it. So we let it burn the oil completely dry (which only took about 2 weeks in this car), and instead of topping it off he continued to drive the car until it locked up. Unfortunately around a thousand miles later, it was still running. So he threw more oil in it, and ended up selling the car still running at around 490k miles, and gave the guy the extra motor with it.
