Sounds like the timing, which in your case could mean the crank position sensor is no longer able to tell the ecu how fast the motor is spinning, so it doesn't know the timing of the motor.
That could very well lead to the situation you're experiencing.

Thank you for the quick response, that is what me and a few other's I've asked have seem to narrow it down to is the timing. When I have some time I might prop open the timing belt cover and take a peek at the condition of the belt.
