Buying my mom a car, looking to go used in the $8-10k range. She wants some luxury, I'm seeing the 2004, 2005, and 2006 year Acura TL's are apparently very nice and reliable.

Looks like they're in the range of $8-11k for something with around 90-120k miles give or take depending on year and features, etc.

So what's the word, who here knows a thing or two about these? I love the feel of them, very comfy ride too. I know it's Honda and they obviously can go for a lot of miles. And the 258 HP in these things is pretty impressive, kinda overkill for my 60 year old mom but oh well lol.

Lmk wise ones

They're priced well, look good, last forever, and have relatively cheap parts.

Ah yes, that's what I've been reading. Like to hear that.

Looks like a solid fit. I care more about reliability more than anything else. And cost of repairs ofc.

A little bit smaller, less HP, better on gas?

Is that the case? Reading up on it a little, seems to be the main difference? Better handling?

Nice, thanks for the input. Will look into a tsx since the performance aspect is really not important. Would prefer better gas and handling over speed and power lol.
