I want some fun now. Since my 68 is 2-4 years away from being finishedish. I have a strong feeling to have some driving fun the summer. Although all I have is a 02 jetta 1.8t the 180hp version work car that I'd like to put some more power behind it. And a lil friendly bet with a friend with his gs-t. I'm looking to try and push 250hp out of it. I hear APR makes some good bolt ons but it's pretty salty for Wat I want. And I hear these 1.8t are touchy when anything is changed on them. J/w If anyone has done a lil modding on these. VW forums rly aren't that helpful. And yes I'm mainly looking for bolt ons. Even possible to achieve 250hp this way. Maybe 1kish budget. So bigger turbo and exhaust out of the question.

ko4 kit.

But I agree with Ride686. These motors DON'T like the boost turned up.

If you do....Be extremely careful.

They're completely different turbo's even though they have the same name. That's what I was getting at.
