i dont really find this to be a very feasible option for most otr drivers unless that thing has a hell of a jake on it. im trying to figure out how you are cooling the trailer brakes with all those air fairings on it. also a lot of these dipshits will just rip them right off hitting curbs and stuff. i wonder what that truck would average with a regular see them every day 53 footer with none of that crap on it.

yeah they are stating such a huge % increase over the national average of 5.8 or w/e. most new trucks get a hell of a lot better than that. that 579 doesnt really look any different than any other from that angle. full length fenders all the way over the duals and smoothies are only things i can see there. wish they had a better picture or something.

I've seen some 53 footers with that aero shit on the back and two big air diverters running outwards to spread it around the trailer wheels.

Are those back fins legal in the 48 states on a 53 foot trailer?

yeah most of the big fleets are using them now. you would think that would add to the overall length of the combo but i guess theres some kind of stipulation or maybe the rules dont apply to them at all idk.
