Bring it to a mechanic to have him give it a once over before you start talking dollars with the guy.
For all we know the guy might not have changed the oil in the last 60,000 miles.

But those civics are hard to kill, if you're looking for something cheap and reliable, you're off to a good start.

Check for bondo in those fenders, those cars rust like crazy. Regardless, I wouldn't pay more than 2k.

Honestly if you're in CT you shouldnt get a Civic. Too many thieves in that neck of the woods. There's a LOT of VW guys in CT though, which means cheap labor on replacement parts.

/e But civics are great cars, but that price is a bit high, especially with 160k, single cam, base base base model (dx which means no power anything really).

I wouldnt even pay 2k for it.
