Huge list of pros and cons for each.... really dependent on the application and goals in mind.

Im sure FMX will shine some light on the subject

Edit- I vote Turbo 100%.. If you have the room and $$$ I say turbo every time

Depends on what you want...
Youre not going to get explosive low end out of a turbo and your not going to get efficient, smooth-building high end out of a roots style SC

I thought turboing was cheaper than supercharging? or is that wrong?

The actual turbo itself may be cheaper than a comparable supercharger but as far as the whole package is concerned it is generally more costly to go the turbo route

Price also depends on the type of SC vs the turbo. A centrifugal is normally way cheaper than a twin screw.

Application dependent. For super low end nothing beats a screw style blower. Big centrifugal superchargers are easier to tune and control on the reaaaalllly high hp cars. Turbos are the best of both worlds in a way. You can make more mid range than any blower and it will carry up top. Since the power isn't linear or dependent on engine rpm it is a bit harder to put the power down consistently without traction control built into the boost controller. Thats theoretically speaking on high hp setups. On your cousin's bolt on import it doesn't matter because no one cares.
