So my car is a 2000, has 200k miles

what kind of oil should i use?

currently using Valvoline Fully Synthetic

Since my car has high mileage, would High Mileage Motor Oil be more benficial?

and what weight should i use? 5w-30 or 10w-30?

Also, another thing to think about regarding synthetic oils.

If you have any oil leaks in the system, synthetics will not only leak faster, but also the worsen the leak.

Stick to the dino oil you've been running until this point.

Just get a high mileage version.

And when in doubt 10w30

or straight 30

Look in your vehicles maintenance manual.
If you don't have one look on the oil filler cap or on the grille infront of the radiator it usually says what oil to use.

I wouldn't switch from synthetic to conventional

What made you consider switching now?

I wouldn't think twice about it and continue doing what you been doing.
