now after getting my ignition replaced as well as my cracked dristrub cap my car has ran fine for about 2 months and today when i hoped in the car i turned it on and it idled fine and so i started to drive and when i went to press on the gas it wouldn't go faster and then 2 seconds later it would bunny hop and go fast and then it would go back to repeating those steps.

I parked it in my drive way and it idle at 800 and sounded fine (its dark so i can't really check anything atm) No check engine light btw. Oil is fine and i have 1/2 tank of gas from a new gas station.

What do you think it could be?

any kind of lemon laws for used cars? I've had this car 9 months and been back to the dealer ship about 15 times (no joke) picked up by AAA 4 times and i continue to have problems. I can't go 2 months without something breaking or not working. I'd be happy with what little i owe left on the car back from the dealership in exchange for this junker.

Hmm , no codes?? Is the light burnt out? What your explaining how it idles fine, drives normally for a minute, cuts out, sputters, picks up speed like normal. Check your o2 sensors and the cat.
Could be shit gas also... Too much water, ** never fuel up when you see a tanker at the gas station filling their tanks **

In my honest opinion. Sell the car, its a dud.

Nah the light worked like a month ago for some stupid leak in one of my tubes. Yeah i always stay away from those gas stations when possible. I'll check those out tomorrow.

Its a problem with such a wide variety of potential issues its almost impossible to point you in the right direction for certin.
Like wiring, grounds, fuel delivery, sensors, plugged up parts, and outside problems ( fuel ) can all possibly cause what your experiencing.

Any other things the car has done, or doesnt do anymore that COULD help narrow it down?? Will you be fixing it your self?

Sorry no it just started fine and only got to drive it for about 5-10 minutes before i got busy. I will most likely take it back to the dealership and make them fix it unless its something simple i could do.

Since you have no lights, check basics first.

Check/replace air and fuel filters, move on to check fuel pump then throttle body.

Update *Light just came on (but to be fair it was on last month and i took it in and they just said it was a emission thing but w/o a certain tool they couldn't pin point what it was since it was running fine)

Just took it for about a 20 minute drive and it didn't do any of the things i listed in the first post but it shifts a little rough (but after looking at the internet 99 accords have horrible trannys so I'm not gonna poke a sleeping beast unless i have too since the estimated repair cost is $2200-$2800 for a honda certified and warrenty tranny).

I checked my oil and that was fine but a tad low. Check my tranny fluid and it was full but it wasn't pink. More of a tan color.

So you think maybe tranny? But wouldn't it be doing it every time if it was the tranny? This also happened a week ago but i thought it was because i was sitting on e and just got gas and there was air in there or something.

Don't have time to check anything else atm but def will.

Take it to an auto parts store and have the codes scanned yourself.

The smell of the tranny fluild will tell you a lot. Will smell burnt if theres an issue, also the magnet will be filled with shavings.

Also, a code came back as emissions? lol... get that looked at !! thats the first thing i said. Your cats plugged.

/if you wonna go the cheap route, cut the cat out and replace it with a straight piece of pipe. my money says your problem will go away. ( its gunna have to be replaced anyways if you have emission issues, and a piece of tubing is a shit load cheaper to TEST if thats the issue than a new cat. )
and yes, your CEL will come on when the cats removed, but the exhaust WILL be flowing, and not backing up throwing codes into the motor.
