Looking into several options as far as a new car goes but I want to be able to at least get an idea of what the insurance will cost me.
There is a lot of stuff I can afford before the insurance costs but idk about after.
Im hoping for something that can provide an estimate without having to actually go through the process of talking to an insurance company.

Im about to be 24.
Single male which makes it all pricey, but no accidents or tickets on record.

Mainly curious about a 4dr wrangler. But also wonder about a C6.

Talk to an agent, they get you the best rates. They don't need much info, like 5 minutes on the phone and they'll call you back. Just get vins of the prospective car types on line just so they can see pretty damn close what it'll cost you.

as for the vette

male, under 25, sports car....... youre gonna get 5-0d gds on insurance.

im classified the same as you insurance wise, price quote on my mustang was 8k.

i suggest maybe holding off until your 25 until you get a newer sports car, that way youll be out of the 25 and under bracket.

I have no idea how insurance on your mustang is 8k unless you have a shit ton of tickets/accidents

Mine is like 200$ a month with full coverage + a few speeding tickets

im 20, brand new car, sports car, i dont really have any credit rating = retard high premiums

ive never had an accident, prior to what just happened, and only 2 speeding tickets, 1 i had prior to the mustang, and 1 while already insured.

mine now is around yours, 1600 a year for full everything because my mom put it in her name to avoid those costs.

thats because $200 is more than that car is worth total.

The under 25 thing doesnt really apply anymore from what Ive been told by insurance people. It stays high until youre married.
And 8k a year is crazy.
But Im on with my parents so that probably helps a lot.

I doubt I would buy a Vette (at least now) but I just thought it was cool that I can easily afford one now, at least without insurance.

Im definitely seriously interested in a new Jeep though. I saw a "20 cheapest to insure cars" article and a wrangler was on the list but Im not sure if that applies to the new 4dr.
As long as I dont change my place of residence I can keep my insurance with my parents so that should help a good bit.

Just did a quote through Geicos website on a 2013 Wrangler.
I put it as a leisure vehicle and it ended up being just under 60 a month which is pretty reasonable.

If I can find a nice, clean one under $20k that might do it for me.

The area you live in has a lot to do with it too. From what ive seen geico penalizes you the least for being young. UNTIL you fuck up.

8k is regoddamndiculous. I pay $205 a month for a 2006 Ram 2500 diesel and a 2011 Camaro SS at 23. I have 2 tickets for 15 over on my record. That is $750 deductible 100k/300k/100k coverage. Travellers wanted $425/mo for the truck by itself when I bought it. Same coverage.

Insurance on a C6 for me is about the same as the camaro. $80/mo with my truck listed as the primary vehicle and 8000mi/year. If I swap it the truck goes down to $65 and the car would be $160.
