Idles extremely rough, bounces between 500-1300 rpm when idling. Reduced power can't accelerate over 2500 RPM.

Needed a boost to start it last three days and now today won't even start with a boost.

Something electrical obviously. Dunno where to start though..

Yeah, engine light and air bag light on....

Need to find a code reader. Shops around charge like 100$...

I'm going to call around and figure it out.

Hopefully I can at least get it started today...

chances are your alternator is done and most likely your battery as well at this point so get them both tested as well.

I was thinking the same thing, my + battery connection was loose for a long time and I couldn't figure out what was going to I wonder if that being disconnected and connected all time while running fried something.

The fack... So I disconnect and then reconnect the air flow sensor by my intake, charge the battery for a little, starts and then runs strong but my lights are on, my air bag lights on and my engine light is on...

Take it for a drive, get it up into 5-6k rpm, lights are still on but what evs. Come home park it, it doesn't say that I engaged the park brake when I get home and put on my brake. Turn the truck off, start it again and my air bag/engine light/lights/brake warning light is on.

It also can't read when my drivers door is open, but it can for my passenger door. Teh fuck...
