So I for the life of me cant find the max towing weight/capacity for my dads truck

Its a 2012 Chevy Colorado Z71

Would this be able to tow a 98 Saturn Sl2?

My car weighs with all my shit that ill be moving, just around 2300-2400 pounds

would this be a problem?

We would be using one of the FWD Uhaul Trailers to carry it.

Edit: just called him and he said his truck is the 3.7L 5cyl

It depends on which engine it has. The towing capacity varies from 1900lbs to 6000lbs. If you aren't climbing any mountains and you take it easy it will be fine.

yeah i edited right before you posted so you may not have seen it

Its the 3.7L 5cyl

I know the Vortec V8 is the 6000 weight limit.

And I think we'll be crossing at most 2 or 3 mountain passes since its going from Colorado to Washington

He called Uhaul and they said hes approved for up to 3500Lbs, but i couldnt find any of that info online lol

You should be fine, just take it easy. Most of the mid size trucks are geared for towing anyways.
