I rear ended him, anyways there were no dents or chipped paint on his bumper but he said it looks like the bumper was pushed in a couple inches

Was wondering if this means his frame is bent and I'm fucked or if there's something small that is easily repaired and won't cost me much

I am insured but I'm a newer driver (almost 3 years) so my insurance will go way up if they pay for this

typically bumpers just have this hard foam stuff in it. most likely you dented that + the plastic.

frame dmg isnt very likely from a minor fender bender.

i hti him going prob 20 kmh, my car didn't get damaged and didn't notice any on his...I'm not sure if he's just trying to get money for nothing or what

just pay the guy the 500 bucks or whatever he asks for and move on with your life

When he called the cops he didn't get an ambulance to come. Him and his wife were both fine, which is good

idk, if they have rear/backup sensors things can start to get expensive.

call around a few shops to get an idea, make sure to ask how much they charge for labor too, cause a 300 dollar bumper won't be 300 after they spend 4 hours installing it.

your insurance is gonna go up either way cause they gonna put you at fault since you rear ended him

from what I heard as long as they don't pay for it I'll be fine, least that's what I got out of ti talking to the lady

If an accident report was filed and you were listed as at fault your rates are going up lol.
