i hate those damn sealed transmissions GM puts in their cars (im sure theres other automakers). went to check my mother in laws malibu because she said she felt it slip a little one day and had to fucking google where the dipstick was because i couldnt find it only to find out they dont have them. she sold it to a guy who knew it had a possible bad tranny and it took a shit on him a few days later lol.

you should not be adding fluid to the trans trans, just a full flush them every 50,000, they have 3 holes, top to fill, middle for level check, and bottom for drain... its straight forward..

I dont have a tranny dipstick on my G5.
That being said, i found out my tranny was low when i went in for a oil change ( just the reason i take NEW cars to the shops to get oil changes done )

Now i get the luxury of HAVING to go to the shop to get it changed everytime now JUST so they can check the tranny ( newly bought car, i dont know the ins and outs yet , so iunno how much/if and often it leeks ) - no i dont have a hoist and i dont feel like crawling under there and removing the middle cap.
