This is a thread about my acura legend :). I bought it 4 years ago and it had a very clean interior and exterior, but the previous owner tore the engine up badly. It sounded like destroyed cams/lifters when started and had a bhg (cyl 3 and 6) / oil pan leak... I have put some time, money, and hard work in it. All work was done by me, all parts were purchased with my own cash working while going to college. It's taken me a while to finish but this is what I've done so far...

New engine (rebuilt jdm very clean)
New cooling system (radiator, fans , all new hoses including fitted upper and lower as well as trans hoses)
6x RDX injector upgrades
CAI
Full headerback exhaust/ b pipe / and a remus muffler (large can basically oem, nice deep tone and very quiet) Finally finished this... Did it without removing the heads!
Rebuilt rack (replaced most power steering lines as well)
Brembo rotors and ceramic pads
ECU tune
New interior

Next up - 3.5L RL lower plenum swap

I'll update this as I continue to improve my daily driver ;). Stay dirty.

This is when I did the interior ->

This was the engine swap ->

New jdm engine ->

No engine space to actually take a picture of the shorties (headers) but heres a picture from underneath, (obx headers unfortunately, no one makes anything else for this car)

looking good man, I'm not a fan of honda, but I do appreciate hard work when I see it....is that a billet aluminum balancer?

What kind of system are you putting in there?

Yeah it is  . The "foil" is a noise insulator like kromisfit said. I was never a fan of honda before either but a buddy had one of these with nearly 300k miles on the original engine. The lower plenum of this car does pose a problem with the egr becoming clogged and causing cyl 3/6 to frequently heatsoak and bhg, horrid design but my engine is low on mileage and I can always clean the intake mani and egr to prevent it. I went in to redo the audio but just decided to replace it with like new oem, the wiring was all 2 pair and replacing it with new 4 pair with a new head unit was more work than I wanted to do. (Above my level of audio expertise as well, I'll be honest I'm terrible with that sort of thing haha) I replaced the head unit , tweeters , and speakers with oem and left it at that. It's an older bose system so its not complete crap. Nothing fancy I know but halfway decent for a daily driver :P

should of just asked me when you were wanting to replace the audio stuff.

oem is always garbage compared entry level aftermarket.

Did you add the sound deadener or is that OEM stuff? It looks like some pretty cheap materials
