and yeah they were talking about that wax it was some kind of shit that someone uses on their planes or something its supposed to help with drag i guess or something. it didnt help matt though he qualified 6th. jeff gordon is on P2 currently. danica still on P1.

danica became first woman in nascar cup series history to score a pole position. cant wait to see how she does in the big race. the best decision she ever made was joining tony stewarts team i dont know if anyone else couldve put her in as good a position as he has.

i watched liek 2-3 qualifications this morning at a friends house, i never usually watch it i dont even have the channels at my place.

aircraft are clear coated just like cars are and people that wax them use the same as people do on cars... id know, i got my A&P cert..

the only thing that will reduce drag by the most minuscule amount and basically immeasurable would be clay-baring the clear coat...even that would only be effective for the first 10 seconds if you are behind any other cars....

i dont understand why they dont use dimpled bodys in racing such as nascar wehere they fight air resistance so much with all that body surface. Is it against the rules? otherwise i guess they need the additional drag for tracktion/downforce
i remember mythbusters did it on some random car by adding clay and sculpting it, even with all the added weight it still performed better ( stock oem car)
