they quoted me $800 to replace my water pump with oe parts...
i think im just going to order a new water pump and do it myself..

they told me $136 to flush my coolant...

i found a bosh oe replacement water pump for my car for 140 bucks on autopartswarehouse.

chevrolet dealership quoted me a new dimmer switch/ cruise control/ turn signal/ multi function switch for my wifes 01 buick regal for 450 dollars. the parts stores want 299 for it. its the entire switch on the steering column. cruise control will just have to stay fucked up

That sounds pretty normal, water pumps can be a bitch to get to.

easy on the suburban at least, its a fairly easy maner to get the fan and shroud off and from there its a few bolts and voila


also only cost about $120 overall, with new hoses and coolant

but this was several years ago

We did the water pump on my buddies solstice gxp last year, it was not a fun time.

the water pump is right on the front, its easy to get to.
