okay so basically it looks like this.

but shittier.

but it has a Honda Vtech Dhoc.

The body is a 9.5/10 as far as stock. apart from the weather seal on the doors its prettty good.

The rear struts are gone(as in they are there but they are bad.), my family mechanic just estimated $1043.79 to replace them.

I called my brother who is a mechanic with his own shop in another state and he said they are charging 100%(as in im paying buying the parts and paying double) on parts and $100/h our labor.

he said he can get me struts for 40 - 55 ea and that i could do them my self.

One question, are they hard to do.

it has power and potential. and I plan on putting time in to it to make it look something like this:

thoughts?

you gotta be stupid to even give such a quote
never worked on such cars, but im guessing 40-55$ sounds right and im pretty sure you could do it yourself

Struts are probably the easiest suspension component I've ever dealt with. 55 each is about the top of what I'd pay for 'em. Get 'em and do it yourself. That mechanic is definitely trying to screw you over. I wouldn't plan on keeping it long enough to go that far with the body mods and paint though. Once you start to get some experience and skill developed, you probably won't continue to think that car's powerful enough.

LUL not sure if srs or troll on second part. Please do not spend on any money on that car other than maintenance. Save up for a better car later down the road

struts are easy if your mechanically inclined.

can we see a engine pic?

curious to see a honda engine inside a mx3 usually people swap the v6 motors or the BP turbo motors.

what happend

does vtec kick in yo? any issues? is it plug and play? how is the ecu wired? to many questions
