Budget 2-3k.

Want something fun cheap reliable.. No honda's please.
I"ve had one and wouldn't want to have another.

I was thinking of a corolla as known ae86 Or a jeep cherokee 4x4

Give me more options and links of upgrade's i can do to it.


I'm in southern California if that helps. I'd stick to a 4cyclinder but if you have a v6 in mind shoot em ill check it out.

Will pay fg if you help me change my mind on these two options.

You'll see no better than 14-18 highway in the Cherokee, and it doesn't sound like you'll need the 4WD.

I'd go Carolla all day. 30+ mpg, super reliable, dry climate, so NO rust. You should be able to find a cherry Corolla for 3,000. Especially in Cali.

Cant go wrong with a Carolla and I do see alot of them for sale in that price range around here.

Yup yup, that's my goal and my thoughts... Just thought they were too "old" but then again fuck it. They are reliable and parts are cheap. Something better than a honda. Shits are so burned out here.

If you are looking into a v6, you can always look into the Nissan Maximas. Not the prettiest things, but parts are cheap and older models dont run the bank dry.
