Getting my moms 86 Ford finally been begging her for it for years , got a list of parts , headers full exaust , manifold with a 390 holley 4bbl carb then put 411 gears in the rear end just a question what cam should I use this thing is going to be a torque monster

hes like the resident 4x4 guy is all. im not to familar with cam specs on torque tho. he can point you in the right direction for anything in the 4x4 world tho

i have one in a jeep a 258 straight 6 i use for hunting and i hubnt in the swamp of florida and its always getting abused and never will die , i saw on youtube last night a guy ran 11 in 1/2 mile with a straight 6

this guy was featured in car craft he just put a turbo on it and a new oil pump with chevy valve springs, i dont have the issu with me but thats pretty much all he did

vouch that one. we had one we pulled brand new roll balers and stuff with and were pulling this long ass hill and the damn motor was overheating bad. we thought we were going to have to jump out of the truck but we topped the hill and delivered the baler and drove on back to the shop no problem. that thing was a work horse.
