I am looking to spend anywhere from like $3-7k for a car this spring after I sell my motorcycle. I am from Minnesota and looking for a fun car.

Cars that I have owned:

1995 Chevy Monte Carlo (first car)

1988 e30 BMW 325 IX (AWD snow beast, 5spd)

2000 e46 BMW 323 CI (RWD, 5spd, had great gas mileage and was clean ride)

I want a manual car for sure and preferably RWD or AWD but I am up for ideas.

Cars that I have in mind in that price range:

-Any e30

-2.5 rs coupe

-maybe a bugeye wrx

-civic?? (a newer civic possibly)

What does d2jsp suggest? I am up for anything really.

Buy a Geo Metro, and save the rest of your money for gasoline. A few years of gasoline.
