Can't post in old thread because I didn't update it enough
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=61387065&f=140&o=0

So if you're unfamiliar, go read through it quick.

Anyway: UPDATES START HERE

My clutch pedal was ultra sloppy a while back, so I bought a bearing/bushing set for $15 to fix it.

Turns out, it wasn't just the bearings and bushings....the support shaft was looking pretty horrible.
(sorry my dad got enthusiastic and welded some bead to it then grinded it down. I didn't get a chance to take before pic, but it was worn almost 1/2 way through. I don't know why he bothered, I already ordered a new shaft :bonk: )

So a new support shaft is on the way, as well as some extra bushings (it only came with two, I need 6)

Also not sure if I should grind these out and replace them, or leave them. They don't look too bad...

P.S. Early 67 Mustangs DO NOT have a rag joint in the steering column. It goes right into the steering box. You have to unbolt the whole box and either; jack your car up and drop it, or pull your headers and lift it. WTF FORD!?!
So I decided to leave it in, and eventually (and I mean really in the distant future) I will replace it with a rack and pinion setup

Also Ordered a new Hurst shifter, shifter knob, shifter boot, and some new rubber for the steering column/firewall.

And borrowed from a member of VMF, this is the shifter, knob, and boot I ordered. Hope it looks half as good as his.
