hi guys me and my wife are looking for a pet,

how dog are not a option as we both work 10-12 hrs a day same shift.

what do you think would be best pet that can be left alone for 10 hrs at a apartment

i was thinking more towards a bird or fish

Hamsters r good option do they get lost in the house if i let them out of cake?

all pretty good choices that can be left alone for periods of time without too much stress to the animal

To be honest sir I've actually never owned a hamster. :D ;) XD

But I did own gerbils when I was younger, and those are also great pets, those also by the way cannot be let out of their cage.

Get a 10-20 gallon fish tank. It's a fun & relatively easy pet to maintain. You can keep anything from a single betta fish, to a small community of fish.
