Okay, so a friend of mine encouraged me to get a few and so I did.

I might have gone overboard with the cage, but I may add more depending on how these go.

Anyone have any tips from personal experience with owning these little bubs?

Yikes, now you're going to need 16 baby turtles to fulfil their destinies.

They like weed as a treat (at least mine did)

On a more serius note they are very social animals so make sure to take them out of the cage pet them play with them etc

You fed your rat weed?

Yeh, two of them are very outgoing and sweet. The other two are a bit shy and stay in some tubing a zip-tied to the ceiling of the cage.

Gunna try some tricks I found online to get them to open up to me a bit more.

really you just need to handle them a lot and pet them!

let them crawl up your arm and over your shoulders to your other arm. make sure you get a play pin that you can set up in your living room so all 4 rats can run around freely without escaping!

pet rats are awesome only problem is their poo smells bad =/ and they shit a lot
