Never had a cat or dog before. He's so cute. I worry about him when I leave for work thought because he's all alone. And today it was storming.

the kitty will spend alot of time sleeping, like sweet said leave him food / clean water / clean litter

a few toys he can play with hes not bored (i know there will be a smart ass who will make a sex joke ref)

try and let him in one room while no one there to watch him and dont let him chew/claw electric wires it could kill him

so basically baby proof the wires in some sort of way so he cant reach it preferably

And don't forget to get him a scratching post!

Depending on his personality and age and how long you are gone for you could look into getting him a friend. When my boyfriend and I started working jobs that kept us out of the house for 10 hours a day we adopted a second cat. It was the best decision we could have ever made because the two are best friends.

And when bf leaves you can get a 3rd cat

Actually one cat is his, the second is mine. We can't split up the boys.
