Went to the vet as my dog had a bunch of holes/puncture from the bite.

And he just gave antibiotic pills for $80. Did nothing else. Is something not right about this? I applied anti-bacteria gels on the wound before going there


He did testing and said there was no infection. I went to the vet 2-3 hours after the incident

And as for your question, depending on where the wound is the vet may not have been able to wrap it and animals are natural healers. This is depending on the severity of it though. If you do not trust your vet then maybe get a second vet's opinion?

Nope. There is literally no way you can prove that your dog was ambushed without video evidence...even then it would be tricky without a PHD animal behaviorist. I'm glad your dog is doing well...continue to monitor

If you are concerned, take him back and request to get holes stitched up
