Female 50 pound Pitbull adopted at 1 year old

Pet is now 3 years old

Gets along well with girlfriends cat, and has become accustomed to 2 other dogs just fine with time.

She wants to charge and get on top of the animals, but does not bite.

Yanks so hard on the least and does not listen at all when pitbull sees another animal.

Animal = Cat, Dog, Squirrel, Possum, Raccoon, etc.

I've tried shock collar, pitbull gets even more excited...

Tried commands etc. Any tips??

E/ my friends 3 year old pit bull acts like that, and he never trained his either

This, good training and proper raising makes a good dog.

Sounds like over excitement seeing new animals. Make sure your dog is well exercised and calm her down and it will slowly get there.

Pitbulls were bread to act like this. They are engineered to kill. They should be illegal and all of them should be eliminated.

no kidding.
ive owned pits and they can be some of the most loving dogs out there.
people saying they need to die are too lazy to take them into for training.
you can literally get obedience classes which specialize in pits or similar breeds.

that might be a good option for op.

actually pibulls were bred to be nannies ( babysitters ) they were to protect the baby while the parents were off foraging

e/ also you get a few types of pitbulls, The American pitbull is the 1 with a bad rep because of the bad owners, The breed itself is great.
