I'm an adult male getting a rabbit. Weird/not weird? When I called the adoption agency the lady asked if it was for my family and I lied and said yes, the rabbit is really for me though.

Don't let it be in the sun. they can have heat strokes so easily it's ridiculous. I left my rabbit in the summer heat for like 5 minutes and it died

don't say it's for a family. if they think you're getting a bunny for a 5 year old, they won't let you have one. i rescued two bunnies which were neglected by children. i'm technically an adult and i think they're adorable. the problem with getting adults is they might not be affectionate if they weren't raised to be affectionate.



rabbits have fur. 40 degrees is fine. 100 degrees is not.

what breed is it? i like the rex breed bc of the short fur

netherland dwarf, doesn't like alfalfa hay so the breeder jipped me. I want to try and make it eat hay by subbing it in slowly

If it's an adult rabbit it should be eating timothy hay
You should be giving it unlimited hay and water.
Also, can give it lots of veggies, herbs and a bit of fruit.
