So I need to get them to be outside cats so I'm thinking of ways to transition them so this is what ima do lmk

Gunna start by getting them to go to my garage first
Gunna put the litter box in the garage and their food and going to leave the door open that leads to the garage

Do they not want to go outside or something? Just let them out.

just leave them outside and feed them unless they are still kittens. if cold outside make a soft warm bed for them.

if you put the food and water next to the door then they will stay by more then likely! ^_^

Yup. Outdoor cats are akin to throwing bread out for birds. It's an animal you feed, but don't really care about....you just like it when they stop by from time to time.

Not true at all.. I had an inside/outside cat for 11 years. She would go out first thing in the morning when I went to work and come in at night when I got home.

Opinions are opinions. I believe what I wrote.

Also 11 years is an extraordinarily long life for an outdoor cat. Below is a link to a fact sheet from PETCO.com...Possibly a biased piece as I can't tell if it has been peer reviewed or not, but the main ideas cannot be argued with.

http://www.petco.com/Content/ArticleList/Article/13/2/181/Reasons-to-Keep-Your-Cat-Indoors.aspx

1-5 years is the life expectancy for an outdoor cat as compared with 12-20 for an indoor cat. Additionally, from what I can glean from the OP's brief post he is attempting to make a cat that has spent his/her life indoors transition to an outdoor lifestyle without any additional training from a parental cat.

It's a bad idea.

If you refuse to care for your cat, then be responsible and find a new home for him/her. What you're suggesting is akin to neglect and speaks of borderline abuse.
