Today my wife and I decided to get a second cat. Or current cat Charlie is about 7 months old and the new car Russell is 9 months. We put Russell in our bathroom for a few hours to get used to the smells of our house and a few hours ago let him out to explore. He is a very timid submissive cat. He will wonder a bit then go to his safe pace again 'the bathroom'. Charlie is pretty curious and very playful, but we found him laying on top of Russell basically hugging him. Russell seemed a little scared but Charlie wasn't biting or hurting him. Is this common? What is Charlie doing... Just trying to play?

Cat sex

My cats do this all the time. It starts out as playing, but since most cat's are dicks it ends up in a fight.

I'd say keep an eye on the behavior and as long as it doesn't get aggressive, or it's shockingly obvious how much one cat hates it....just let it go.

They're cuddlin!

they learn to live together. my friend had a cat and got a kitten , the kitten fought at first and in a few weeks they just sat in differet areas of the house , ate eachothers food, walked around eachother
got used to it

if they are alone they think they are human
now they gona be cats
