there is that myth around that dogs and cats are colourblind, but it's not true
their colourvision is not good as the one of humans but it's still there

seriously, why don't you google for vision of cats / dogs and you will find that what i said is correct
as a pet owner you will notice it too (could tell you the favourite colours of our dogs)

Color shouldn't matter, unless you have a preference on what color cat you want.
