Super happy i love cats tbh :P

My last 3 cats died horribly :( (Old age - 13 years old, Hit by a car walked home with 2 front paws from 4 blocks away back to my house, Other one some kicked or suttin and broke its neck)

So im trying to keep my cat a inside cat but i have clear sliding doors

Is it possible to keep it from going or slipping outside ?

Im going home in 3 days my mom got it for my birthday :P

When I got mine he was a baby so I never let him out, he was actually scared to even go near the door till he got a bit older and curious.
once the cat goes out 2 3 times it starts getting more and more curious about the outside and will always try to get out once you open the door.
I suggest if the kitten hast gone out yet keep him/her indoors at all times and always make sure when you open the door his not around and if he is when he gets near the open door stomp your feet and say no and he will run back inside since it will be too scared and unsure to run outside :)

You should keep your cats indoors. Having a cat outdoors can have many risks involved.
Just make sure to have your doors shut tight when leaving/entering. If your doors are occasionally open, buy a screen door so they can see outside without being able to go out.
Another thing you can do is train it so that it doesn't even go near the door. When it gets close, without having he/she see you, throw some water at it so it knows when it gets close to the door, something bad will happen.
Continue doing that until he/she gets the idea.

Second this

Some cats like inside some cats don't. I have 2 cats; both of whom were strays that I adopted. One was badly injured when I found him, and as a result lost an eye. The other was just a mangy alley cat. Ironically the 1-eyed one tried to break out every chance he got, but like Johnnay suggested I just kept a squirter bottle around and after a few months he stopped trying to escape.

IMO all pet cats should be indoor cats. Additionally, a cat should never be declawed.

My sister recently got a cat, and when our family goes up to our cottage we bring him with us, we got a little harness for him and a long rope, and we tie it to the ground and let him play around with the birds and such under supervision.

we do the same with our house on our deck.

our kitten is always trying to escape outside, but when it does it usually runs a few feet then drops and looks around.

:D
