potty training my new puppy.

i REALLY wanna keep her, shes this cute little rat thing i never in a million years thought id want!

Shes sort of a "rescue" dog. was like 3 am and 40 degrees and this dog had been out by its own for a few days so my friend brought her in. So i dont know HOW old but shes deff a tiny youngin.

i want her to use puppy pads, cause at the moment she just shits and piss' where ever.

are there methods or ways to do this with such a young pup?

its causing problems (people stepping in it).

i want to keep her, she makes me happy but i cant keep her if i cant control this.

patience and time
dogs are very clean animals and don't like to dirty "their' place
watching the signs and getting into a routine will help
(tried puppy pads with my new puppy but they did not help at all, took a couple of weeks after we got him for him to get clean)
what is more important is that you see the vet to ensure proper vaccination etc

I think there is spray that you can use on the pad so the dog "knows" to go there. Also, it's possible your puppy might need to be dewormed or a condition that he can't control himself. Most likely he's just being a puppy though.

I'd try feeding smaller more frequent meals. Not sure how often you feed him. And then keep an eye on him for an hour afterwards. It'll be a lot easier if he's on a schedule.
