My ex boyfriends mom breeds them, I've had them a pair for a little over a year now. They are soooo fucking cute!



I guess a lot of people haven't heard of Sugar Gliders so I thought I'd share. That one isn't mine but that's what they look like. VERY tiny with long tails :)

they are really cute! sadly i've never seen one irl. i bet they're super expensive. i really want one though! :)

just google for "sugar gliders for sale" and you will find that they are pretty cheap: from ~$175 plus shipping but good breeders will want you to have at least two so you might be out ~$1,000 for your initial set-up
(ie including housing, vet etc) which is still cheaper than a decent pedigree dog
if that is pricey for you than try to save up a bit and ask family/friends to give you rather some money instead of other presents for birthday/xmas, don't try to cut corners on a pet

I had a couple of these and gave them the second bedroom in my place with my wife...theyre great little buggers considering their attachment to specific people and hatred of some strangers. only problem is making them special meals when youre busy

i've read they can't control their need to pee and they live a long time, otherwise i'd get one

toilet train them OR use nappies :P

and they live by far not as long as cats
