found him injured in the middle of the road next to two of his dead friends - just opened my door and scooped him up he didnt really care. can't fly but he is very lively and is eating/drinking. i dont think either of his wings are broken but regardless he's in my hands now for a few weeks until he recovers from any broken bones or whatever is preventing him from being able to fly..

So, hopefully in a few weeks i will be able to report back that i seen him fly away.

still alive and well.. and he eats a lot of nyjer seed. he doesnt want anything to do with sunflower seed but plows through the expensive stuff. i really hope i get to see him fly away in due time..
