Anyone here own one? How are they as companions and with children and other dogs?

and re behaviour with other dogs - never encountered a problem with any of the swiss mountain dogs I met when walking my dogs (mostly encountered bernese but the greater swiss is more or less a short coat bernese).

Im thinking Swissies make good guardians too - was thinking of a Caucasian Shepherd, but if I do that, I wont be able to have company for 10-11 years
