i checked on google and etc b4 i got them
i've had them for bout 2 months now
i have my hand in the cage for bout 10 mins or so a day since i got them trying to get them on my finger
but they wont do it like the only time i can get one of them on is when its like night time and hes on the perch and i kinda like put my finger under the perch and slide it up so his feet r on my finger
and then he only sits there for about 5 seconds b4 flying off
i only have 2..so what am i doing wrong?
how do i get them to get on my finger..

Take him out of the cage and hold him. Wear a glove if needed so they don't bite. Parakeets are extremely messy and throw seeds all over so you know.

Hold them how i thought u weren't supposed to grab em and if they fly around will they go.back to the cage?

When they go on your index finger put your middle finger over there feet so they can't fly off your finger. And for them to not fly you should clip there wings. But DO NOT clip there wings unless you have done it before or know someone that has done it.

Wont it hurt them if i hold them down if they try flying?

try with a branch first when it gets used to the branch use a smaller branch and when it gets used to that start trying with your hand
