So for the past 2 months we have realized we have a mouse (never seen it just figured based on the small poops I find from time to time its a mouse). I bought a bunch of those snap traps and glue traps for mice. It has set off 3 snap traps and managed to get away as well as landed in a glue trap and managed to get away.

This morning my gf wakes me up because she can here the guinea pig crying. we run out to the living room and a big nasty rat is in her cage attacking her. Once we were in the room the rat bolts out of the cage and into the kitchen in literally just over 1 second. This thing was the same size or a little bigger then our 2 lb guinea pig. So we had to take her to the vet and she ended up having 3 bites through her ear, a big bite behind the ear. and a piece of her eye lid taken off. Luckly her eye is ok.

So of course we go out and buy rat snap traps (I'm boarder line scared I'm going to break my fingers setting those things they are massive. and some of those have a heart trap cages, and a pellet gun to shot it once it is in the cage.

the guinea pig is safe at her aunts house untill we catch the rat.

I have found the hole it lives in long ago and it is literally 1/4 an inch wide and like an inch and a half tall and its in a place out of my reach. I'm surprised something so big can get in there. but then again that is about the size of the spaces in the guinea pig cage.

You have to exact revenge against it. Let me tell you what to do.

Buy comically giant mallet

Set cheese near hole
Sit and wait
When rat appears, yell a battlecry, perhaps yell, "FOR [pets name] MY FALLEN ALLY, NONE SHALL ESCAPE ALIVE"
Swing down giant mallet with full force.
