Every dog is different, The breed has nothingf to do with it. Pitbulls were once used as babysitter for young children when the parents were out working.

It will be kinda big cause the Mastiff part. Your dog will be fine with kids since he / she will grow up with them, You just need to make sure the dog learns fast not to play using his mouth. Just make sure the dog is gentle near the kids and the kids know not to annoy the dog.

The half pitbull will guard your children and the Mastiff brings the size :P Aslong as your dog learns not to play with his mouth and your kids are gentle with the pup i would say the dog would protect the kids probly even from you :p Only reason you need to be carefull is because they have the vice grip jaws :p

I would suggest goin to see the pups before you buy 1, Find a nice calm affectionate 1.

Pitbulls are natural babysitters and Mastiffs usually forget how big they are lol.

Hmm, Im not 100% on the pit side, I think its a medium energy dog but the mastiff side is a big lazy dog lol. The mastiff side is big and lazy but does need space to walk around.

2+ 30 min walks should work.

So my guess overall is: Medium size dog with low-medium energy, So wont need big walks 24/7 just a couple average wa\lks per day. I have a husky and he gets 10 miles walk per day andf still has high energy but i found a good way to drain it is getting a bone, Just go to the butchers and ask if they have any cow knuckles or anything, Make sure its a strong bone as that mix will have powerfuil jaws.

If you give your dog a bone practise taking it off the dog cause most dogs wont let you take it :p

Size and energy is just a guess, Every dog is different based on size energy and temperment.

e/ Feel free to pm me if the dog develops any anger problems or you need some training tips.
