my parents live on a farm and I had a dog for 8 years before he died, got hit by a car. they just got a new dog and would like him to be able to run around like the last dog but this picture below is our problem

is there any kind of device that is reasonable in cost that is wireless that acts like that underground fences? I would dig a wire.. but there is no way that is going to happen with that tar and gravel

I would suggest a cheap fence, If you8r dog isnt a digger or likes to squeeze through things it can be really cheap.

An invisible fence does exist but it will be expensive, Its like an el;ectric fence but has no cables or electricution :p Its a sorta noisy collar so hen they pass the invisible fence it makes a high pitch noise.

well thats the main driveway to my parents house so a fence is pretty much not an option. do you have a link to the wireless fence I am just curious to see the price and range

Get an invisible electric fence. My parents had to use one for there dogs when i was younger cause they live kinda next to a busy road now days there is no problem at all.

Here's the site for it. http://www.invisiblefence.com/ I couldn't find a price on the site though. You can also get them at PetCo and such places. I think they got theres at PetCo and was around $100-$200 it was somewhere around there but was worth it.
