So, the other day I took a few minutes away from my vegetable soup to attend to "personal business". When I came back my cat was enjoying the soup, and appeared to have a good bit of it.

I wasn't sure if this might actually be a healthy food to give a cat every now and then? He seemed to really enjoy it and didn't appear sick afterwards.

I have no knowledge of feline nutrition, so any input would be welcome. Thanks!

i wouldnt feed em a soup from a can. too much sodium. but if you made it fresh (just veggies and water) then it should be fine.

Yeah, it was homemade stuff he got too - I was surprised that he even liked it!

i'd say that soup is okay every now and then but not too much. it's a nice treat for your cat. :)

should specifically look up each vegetable that was in the soup and see what effects they have on cats
I know for dogs certain fruits and vegetables are bad for them, like grapes and coco and I think pineapple or something
idk
anyways you should do little research first if you plan on giving him some more in the future
