first are they a good fun pet to have?
i read alot about them and they can talk and etc..

this ladies house im paintnig has 2 parakeets idk if there male/female forgot to ask
but she said i could have them becuz shes like to old and dont do anything with them
they are 1 and a half years old and has like no training at all i guess
and i was jwing if they would b good still to finger train and train them to talk..
or if it would b better to just go buy younger ones from the pet store..

if i get from the lady i get the huge cage she has, food, the stuff for the bottom of the cage, toys etc...

if i get from pet store i have to buy everything..

so lmk ur opinions plz?

These birds are known to like one person and only one person. Taking over ownership may not be such a good idea. I would try and handle the birds before taking them to see if they will accept you first.

Parakeets can be fun to have, they have their own personality and quirks. If you have two you have to be sure they can live well with each other though, they have been known to kill each other.

Like humans, cats, dogs and anything else living it depends on the personality of how well you'll like them of course.

I don't know anything about training, but if already has the pets in her house, I'd advise you to observe them for a while in their habitat and see how you like them. You'll have a better chance of getting to know them then if you would only see them for a few minutes at a pet store

They are fun to have - I work in a pet shop and sell plenty of them - some birds are more intelligent than some (easier to make them talk) i.e : the African Grey Parrot.
But they are fun to have even if they don't talk imo

they are male and female..can birds b fixed? or can they not have babies?
and i was jwing if theres no way to fix them i should maybe go buy my own and just buy 2 males? lmk on that to guys

i see but idk if i could handle them cuz she hasnt done anything to train them and there a year and a half old..and she hasnt even finger trianed them..so idk

now do u know what ones are smarter? and ages of all of them?
like can i go to the petstore and b like i want 2 2 month old birds? that are males and will live good together and would they know if there easier to train?
or what would b the youngest i could get from a petstore to make it easier to train them?

no point in fixing them unless u have 2 and dont want them to reproduce ofc
