Well, I'm not exactly allowed to have pets because my landlords insurance doesn't cover it. However, I dont see the harm in getting a small pet. Cats, dogs, or anything fuzzy that sheds is out of the picture. A friend told me to get a snake, but I'm not really sure how good of a pet they really make.

Suggestions?

Hamsters are great apartment-friendly pets. When I grew up living in apartments, it's the pet I'd have. That or a guinea pig. They're fun to play with, and you can teach them to climb stairs, lol. Easy to take care of too.

Hamster or mouse. I think mice are adorable for some reason (and the mouse itself is cheap!). Just make sure to keep the cage clean, otherwise it will smell. Hamsters have a tendency to be more active at night so you might hear them. Really easy to take care of as well

if an inside cat is out of the question, i'd say get a rat. very cool loving pets and the caring for them is easy! :)
