I heard you have to deal with vaccinations and shots.
Is that just a one time thing?

Need complete steps.

Example:
1. Find an adoption center
2. Fill out paperwork? (What kind, what info do they need, do I get the cat the same day? How much does the cat cost)

Also need a list of things I will need
Example:
type of food
type of toys
*where to get these for a good price

Oh wow.. I forgot about the litter box.

What other kinds of maintenance do I need to do?

And did you go to an adoption center or what?

Just get one kitty and go to a veterinary with for a complete examination/shot/spayed surgery if the cat old enough
Dont feed the cat with soft food in cans nor with your meal left over..
Always dry food + fresh water everyday.
You can give some treats but by those healthy with less sugar.
Love your cat

you're good to go

What's your reasoning for not feeding it canned food??? That's absurd!

My cats love canned food a lot more than dry food. They go crazy over that shit.

I don't believe you. Canned food is healthy.

Why would I look at my cats teeth? They are outside cats so I don't even pet them, much less look at their teeth.

Most soft food in cans produces tartar and with time will turns in gingivitis. Ask a vet, not the pet value shop, of course they want to sell their shit..

Best food for cat: dry and less sugar + fresh water (change daily)
Some treat but good one
