hi guys! i promised my neighbors that i will keep his dog for 4 weeks because he is on vacations. but know i got the opportunity to go 1-2 weeks on vacations myself and i dont wanna skip that...
anyway i have 1 big bag of dog food enough for 2 weeks i guess.
my thoughts were to leave the bag open so he can divide the food himself for each day or just eat out of it when he wants
how much do you guys think a dog would need for 1-2 weeks? its a pretty small dog so he shouldnt need that much i guess

Even if you lived out in the country with a creek running through the property, the dog would go insane by itself for 2 weeks

you agreed to look after his dog for 4 weeks, then you're going on vacation for 2 weeks? Call them and ask for what to do. if the dog dies and you're not there, you're gonna feel terrible

Dog need attention on a daily basis. Leaving the dog alone for 1,2 weeks its rather being irresponsible. At least have someone to replace you while you are absent but, never leave the dog by itself.

lol how can you be trusted with another life? so you plan to leave the dog in a house alone for 1-2 weeks? no fresh water no tiolet breaks no walks no attention? would you babysit a child for 2 weeks leave food out and go on holiday?
